Local In-Browser Calculation

Every test and micro-game on NeuroJitter computes your inputs locally inside your browser using JavaScript high-resolution timers (performance.now()). We measure precision down to single milliseconds without sending raw tap or biometric data to remote servers.

The Scoring Matrix

Depending on the challenge category, your performance is measured across specific behavioral metrics:

• Reaction Latency (ms): Measures the raw time between an audiovisual cue and your physical interaction.
• Timing Deviation (±ms): Evaluates your anticipation precision against strict target deadlines (e.g., stopping a timer at 00:01).
• Cognitive Composure (%): Measures your ability to resist impulsive actions, deceptive visual bait, or social pressure triggers.

Behavioral Badges & Humorous Roasts

At the end of each session, your numerical score is mapped to a comparative behavioral tier (e.g., Top 4% Zen Diplomat vs. Awkward Overthinker). These titles and roasts are satirical archetypes meant for personal amusement, social sharing, and challenging friends.

Fair Play & Calibration

Touch latency may slightly differ across devices due to screen refresh rates (60Hz vs. 120Hz). Our games normalize input timestamps to provide a fair and balanced playground for both mobile and desktop users.
